February 5, 201115 yr Hi, I´m going to get a new GTX 560 in a coulpe of days as a replace for my GTX 260 and therefore I´ve checked the cards which my retailer has. There are 3 versions available: Two slightly overclocked, but more expensive Asus ones an one made by Gigabyte with default speeds, which is a bit cheaper. So I´m not knowing whether it makes sense to spend more money and get an overclocked version or whether I should get the version with default speed and overclock myselfe via nVidia inspector. February 6, 201115 yr Other things to considers along with a minor gtx 560 overclock:1. How good is the vendor's warranty and what is their RMA experience like?2. How good is the vendor's board design and components? As for Asus, I had an absolutely dismal graphics card RMA experience once and that was enough for me. Evga's customer service is golden (if evga is an option), speaking from first hand RMA experience. The only reasons I did not go evga for my gtx 560 was MSI's twin frozr II board's enhanced voltage regulator (good for overclocking) and its top rate custom cooler. Its 'stock' overclock was not as important in my decision (though its overclocking capability was). February 6, 201115 yr Author RMA, what´s that? Well, I´ve heared that EVGA seems to be the best. Just checked the superclocked version on the EVGA site, this is the one I would go for, but unfortunately it isn´t availabe in Germany till yet. You Americans are soo lucky, the GTX 560 costs 260 dollar, which is only arround 190€, that´s damn cheap for this. I´ll have to pay 250+€ for a normal, non overeclocked version. That´s somehow not fair. Best regards, Steffen Fight time: NGX 737-700: 37,0h; -800: 47,2h
