February 5, 201115 yr What is the procedure in FSX after choosing a star approach to a particular runway and can you cofirm it in advance with ATC. Another words,if a particular star approach was chosen and ATC was contacted within 30 miles according to FSX parameters, and a runway other than the star was designated by ATC, what now? Is it possible to contact the destination airport any sooner than the 30 mile radius? Tnx, Skip Ciman
February 5, 201115 yr Commercial Member FSX ATC is terrible. Either you can compromise and take what it gives you (unrealistic), or you can strive for realism and go online for live ATC (or you can go halfway on both with a program like radar contact, etc). Kyle Rodgers
