Hi all, I'm reformatted my computer recently, haven't really flown for long periods since, except this morning when I got a fatal error crash. See the logs below:Faulting application name: fsx.exe, version: 10.0.61472.0, time stamp: 0x475e17d3Faulting module name: d3dx9_26.dll, version: 9.7.239.0, time stamp: 0x42964b01Exception code: 0xc0000096Fault offset: 0x00020000Faulting process id: 0xfecFaulting application start time: 0x01cbc6162e9ad915Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Games\Flight\FSX\fsx.exeFaulting module path: C:\Windows\system32\d3dx9_26.dllReport Id: 6713fc8d-321a-11e0-8b61-6cf049768eb5-------------------------------Windows cannot access the file for one of the following reasons: there is a problem with the network connection, the disk that the file is stored on, or the storage drivers installed on this computer; or the disk is missing. Check and repair the file system by running CHKDSK. To run CHKDSK, click Start, click Run, type CMD, and then click OK. At the command prompt, type CHKDSK /F, and then press ENTER.4. If the problem persists, restore the file from a backup copy.5. Determine whether other files on the same disk can be opened. If not, the disk might be damaged. If it is a hard disk, contact your administrator or computer hardware vendor for further assistance.Additional DataError value: 00000000Disk type: 0-----------------------------------The program rcv4.exe version 4.3.0.3845 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. Any suggestions? Really appreciate it!

The only thing I can see is that you´ve installed FSX inside the Programm Files (x86) folder. You shouldn´t do this, because this can cause some problems.

Best regards, Steffen

Thanks for the suggestion. I should also note that all of the above errors occurred consecutively. They are all together.Any other suggestions?

I would install/reinstall the latest DirectX version. Not sure, but it's worth a shot...

Cheers

Heiko
