February 8, 201115 yr Many many times, RC puts me in very close proximity to AI planes. I'm not sure why. Does RC not communicate with AI traffic? I'm using My Traffic 2010, do AI planes do their own thing and RC does something else? Can someone clarify how My Traffic 2010 works with RC and vice versa? Thank you.

Thank you.make sure you have interact with ai checked, in the rc optionskeep in mind, that the ai has to be on the same frequency/controller as you are. in other words, if you are talking to clearance, and all the ai have already talked to clearance and they are all getting their taxi clearances, you won't hear them while you are on the clearance delivery frequency.if you think rc should be talking to a particular ai, and rc isnt', then the only way i can tell what's happening, is for you to make a log. instructions pinned to the top of the forum.when you mail the log, make sure you tell me what ai is involved, their callsign, and what you think should be saidjd JD Read my blog

So AI and myself would fly on the same flight path, etc.. now? Is there a way for me to check that box without having to hear all the AI ATC chatter? Thanks!

February 8, 201115 yr Author jd,I should rephrase. When I check 'interact with ai', I can hear ATC communicating with AI planes, is there a way where I can allow this communication to happen but without having to hear it?Also, when I use to fly with default FSX ATC, one of the most memorable experience was landing in Madrid, where there was an aircraft right infront of me on the approach and right behind me on the approach, clearly the ATC was directing traffic with each other in a timed sequence. When I check 'interact with ai', will RC do this? Thanks.
