IT WORKS!!!!! When I had turned on the "Yellow Box", I've heard cabin crew announcements: passing 10.000 ft (both when climbing and descending) and after landing. Brian, thank you very much for help.

No I'm not using the old FS2C Airbus Special Edition (I have evolution edition). I don't touch this knob, so it can be in the off position. I'll check it today evening when going back home.

What kind of other crew announcements do you mean?? The only I hear is "The cabin is ready for landing" at the descent. I never heard any other crew announcement than this. When I open "FA Dialog" page and ask them for drink, food, tell them we are on cruise and so on - I can hear their response, but I have to talk to them first.

Yes he does, Yesterday, after landing the FO made: flaps up, APU on, taxi and strobe lights off (as I was flying during the day), FD off. Every landing he does his job exactly as described in the manual, but there is no cabin crew announcement.

I tried, but it still not working. As always FO did his after landing flow but no I heard announcement.

Hi Bryan, Thank you for the response. Maybe I really miss something, so I'll study the manual one more time letter by letter. I thing I do all things correct I go through all checklists and set everything according to the manual. When I reach cruse altitude I press "alt crz" on FMA, during descent I put everything on the “Approach Briefing” (autobrake, config, MDA/DH) and made the descent mode active. I set the aircraft to the landing configuration as I in AB, I announce “Land” below MDA and get spoilers off right after I leave the runway (I do this by moving a joystick axis what controls spoilers, not pressing the “/” key). I have really no idea what I do wrong.

I’ve been using FS2Crew (extended edition) for years and made dozens flights, but only once I had a cabin crew announcement after landing (when I left the runway). Since then, I made at least ten-odd another flights, but I didn’t hear it again. I made couple last flights exactly in line with the manual (I made the same flight KSFO-KLAX like in the manual) – but I again heard nothing after landing. I don’t remember what I exactly did during that flight and I can’t recall it. Do you have this announcement every landing or this is random? If you have it – what do you exactly do and what order? I usually fly 300-400 nm legs and maybe my flights are too short?

I wish I'm wrong, but this silence doesn't sound good. I hope only vacation are longer than we thought.

I use MyTraffic 2006 ver. 4,1 and AI Smooth 1,2. Thank you for the solution, indeed when I was checking ATIS I had no incoming traffic to LOWW on the ND (the range was 80 nm). @jd Thank you very much for the information, it helped me a lot.

Hi, Today morning I was flying (Wilco A320 Evolution) form EKCH (Copenhagen) to LOWW (Wien), and when I was round 60 miles from LOWW, I heard an ATIS where runway to land was 16. Two minutes later, when I was switching to Approach - I got vectors to runway 11. No weather update during those two minutes. And here is the question - what was wrong that runway in ATIS was different from indicated by Approach? I use FS9,1 and FSrealWX as a weather program (the program uses Vatsim servers)

Hi, I have Wilco Airbus vol. 1 DeLuxe (CD version with the latest SP) along with the upgrade to Evolution. I have noticed recently, that TCAS is not working. As far as I remember, when I had normal version (not Evolution) everything was OK and I saw other planes on ND. But now, no matter what is TCAS setting – I see nothing on it. Here is a screenshot of my settings.

Hi,The default pushback distance in FS2CREW is between 1 and 23.But, for some airports - 23 is not enought to be extactly on a taxiway after the pushback.How can I increase the pushback value to 30 or 35?

Even if his role is only to be a conlsultant - he participates in the project.And finally - he is involved in making ATC. In my opinion, it's great news the JD (even only as a consultant) attends in process of making ATC for X-Plane. It gives hope, the ATC for it will be very good and solid. I don't expect the RC5 will be ever issued.FSX is almost 5 yars old and is rather outdated (I don't even mention FS9 what is 8) and we know nothing about MS Flight but some Hawaiian screens and probably issue date on 30th of November 2011. Nobody knows it's backward compatibility, what is coverage area, how good is flight model, what about ACT and whether engine and many many other things.This uncertanity makes developers sceptial about MS Flight and led some of them to go in for X-Plane.That's my three cents.

We know there will be no RC for X-plane, but there are some rumours that JD is involved in making ATC built in X-Plane 10.

Unfortunately not – at this momet EPGD is the only airport with AES. But who knows - maybe the rest will be added in the future. best regards,Marcin

I have it, and I really recommend it and you will not be disappointed. You get three very detailed airports with good frame rates and a part of the photo scenery around them. Very good advantage of this package is, free AES in EPGD. best regards,Marcin

And I do so. Every time when I want to fly Wilco Airbus - I go to config manager first, press C&D button and then start FS.And for the very first time everything is OK - the plane is C&D and I can perform all the starting procedure. But next time (if I don't click C&D first) the plane appears in the same stage as I left it (for example: with batteries on and APU running). Starting config manager first and then FS is rather onerous. I'd like to have permanent C&D startup, no matter how I left the plane - if it's possible of course. best regards,Marcin

How to force Wilco Airbus to always start in cold&dark?And, how to avoid saving plane status when leaving the flight?At this moment, whenever I launch the flight – the plane starts the same stage as I left it. For example: if I left the plane with batteries and APU on, next time when I start my flight – both of them are on. Every time when I want to have the plane cold&dark, I have to turn off everything before leaving or enter Aircraft menu and then click cold&dark button in the config. Is it possible to change it, or do I have to live with that?P.S. I’m using FS9,1 and Win XP Pro, and I don’t now why, but the Cold&Dark key sequence (Ctrl+Shift+D) is not working.best regards,Marcin
