You need a cooling system if you want to overclock an i5 beyond 3.3 ghz. I would go for an i7 instead.

Thanks for your reply i7 is £200+ extra only diffrence is its 3.4ghz with hyperthreading which i dont see the benefit from a extra £200+ and the system i have picked has a watercooled setup 240mm radiator cpu block 750 res pump etc

What Hirgab said - an i7, plus an Nvidia GTX580, NOT the ATI 6970. The 6970 is not a very powerful card.

Jetline Systems. PERIOD!Check them out. They do Flight Simulation computers. I'll never go anywhere else. My computer runs FSX with total fluidity.http://www.jetlinesystems.com/Stan

Nice rig you have there, Stan!

Core i5 2500k 3.3 GHz with good cooler overclocked to ~ 4.5 GHz. Don't buy obsolete technology such as Intel Core i7 900 series.Ram: 8gb corsair xms3 8gb 1600mhz dual channel Graphics card: Nvidia GTX 570

+1000Jetline is a no no IMO, no matter how good their customer support is. OverpricedNo Sandy Bridge or GTX 500 series options?Windows XP? are you kidding me?Their PSUs are way overkill too

thanks for the reply guys i think i will go with thei5 2500k thenand the 8gb 1600mhz and what kinda performance do u get at max settings with the gtx570 + addons i looked at jetline systems its far to expensive and the shipping would be ridicolous aswell.

A system with i5 2500k @ 4.5 GHz and a GTX 570 is equivalent to my system. You can get a smooth operation with > 30 FPS in mega airports and very high image quality with tweaks and settings as outlined in my FSX guide (signature). This will be a dream for VFR flying.
