February 16, 201115 yr Is this a problem with my elevation mesh or is it a malfunction of the FSX? If the former, is there a way to update just that without a complete reinstall and addon?

The source data used by the ACES developers was incomplete and they left it to us to fix it, because they were really, really busy with much more important stuff. February 16, 201115 yr Author No, I meant Virgin Gorda. All my other islands look fine with some addons from Tropical Sim for St. Thomas and Beef Island. and possible from Caribbe_Nd.zip (Nord Caribbe) for FsX, Mai 2007. The latter tends to bomb my FSX when I get close to Puerto Rico ILS, So I don't have it turned on, but the mesh looks good enough except VG.I sail there, and it is my favorite place to fly around. Thanks for the good work.Is there any particular BGL I should add to fix VG?
February 17, 201115 yr Excuse me, Mark, in FS X Virgin Gorda has altitude mesh and Tortola does not:Here is the default Tortola and then how it looks after I added the mesh:So, if you have a flat Virgin Gorda, then perhaps one of your add-on scenery packages has created a problem. But, since the mesh and the land masses are not aligned (the ACES guys used different sources that did not match), often the mesh is under the ocean. So, I also had to draw all the islands over again. And re-do the land class. And the water class, and the seasons that are wrong, etc.No airports and the whole thing is not really finished. But, if you are interested and if you can put up with unfinished amateur work, then I would be happy to send it to you.
