I've done a search for an answer to my question, but the returns are numerous and don't really answer my question. Is there any significant difference between Flight 1's Ultimate Terrain X - USA Edition and Ground Environment X - North American. It seems both products do basically the same thing. So is one more efficient than the other, are graphics of one product better than the other. Hopefully someone can give me the straight skinney on this. I'd prefer to purchase only one addon that will give me the best return on my investment. I appreciate anyones response to my question.Jim K. Greenville,NC

I have both UTX and GEX, and LW is correct in stating that they have two different functions, but my opinion is that UTX is the most necessary of the two applications since it provides more accurate coastlines, water features, roads, and in some cases landclass. Of course neither of these is necessary if you are using photo-scenery, which I am not.

I have UTX USA and GEX USA. As mentioned, both have a separate function and work very well together.
