Orbx FTX Australia SP3 DVD Set..... Outstanding Deal

Featured Replies

If you are not taking advantage of the half price sale of Orbx FTX Australia SP3 DVD you are probably missing out on one of the best FSX software deals of all time….. I own all the Orbx North America DVD sets and have spent hundreds of dollars acquiring the collection. I love the Pacific Northwest and had no real interest in any of the Australian Scenery. I saw the half price offer on the Orbx FTX site and thought OK, 49.95 AUS for the whole continent of Australia in the beautiful Orbx format, with a free upgrade to SP4 when is is released, how can I go wrong. I ordered from one of Australian companies listed on the Orbx site. With international shipping the total came to $60.50 US dollars. It did take almost 3 weeks to get to my address in the US but was well worth the wait. The same day the DVD arrived Orbx released the free upgrade from SP3 to SP4 which I immediately downloaded and installed. This scenery has to be seen to be believed and runs smoother than my Pacific Northwest scenery, possibly due to the reduced need for extensive terrain mesh.. The landclass is absolutely outstanding. When you add the the free Orbx PhotoReal airports and then combine them with the literally hundreds of free PhotoReal airports and scenery areas that OZx V3.3 and Ant’s aussie airports provide you have the best scenery software bargain I have ever seen in almost 20 years of flight simming. I will never have the time to visit all these airfields.Posted this information to help anyone who is sitting on the fence and hasn’t made the decision yet, so they won't regret missing out on this deal. I can’t imagine that anyone would be disappointed in this purchase. The only downside is it appears it will cost me more money in the long run...... Just ordered their YMML Melbourne V2.0 Hi Def airport so that I would have a good heavy iron base to fly out of..... JayDub

Yeah, I saw an advertisemant on Aerosoft.com for only 45,99€ or 63$ for Australia SP3, but I decided PNW as launch product for a long lasting friendship between me and FTX.

Best regards, Steffen

You bought the same scenery two times? That makes no sense. It would have been cheaper to burn the downloadad installer on a CD, but if you do this, no problem, but I wouldn´t have done it.
