Flashing clouds on mountain tops

That is indeed terrible. I'm using REX cirrus texture #26. I am copying files manually from REX's temp folder to my texture folder. I'm going to try a different texture set and see if this problem continues. I will report back.

Stephen, This is what I found: < string Name = "SwarmCloud"; string Class = "Basic"; bool NewMaterialUsage = false;> = true; Exactly as you see it above. It is already false. Perhaps the "true" below the NewMaterialUsage should be changed to false? Please bear in mind that I am using Bjote's shader 3.0 for clouds only.
Hi, I don't know how Bojote's Shader 3 modification works or what it does to the shader files, so all bets are off if the basic shader structure is altered. I do know that ordinarily this fix works 100% of the time with the original shaders, but it must be followed to the exact letter of the instructions. The pathway for Windows 7 to get to the shaders is slightly different however. From the screenshot it looks like you have some real texture problems in addition to the flashing. Perhaps you should revert back to the 2.0 shaders. Kind regards,

Doh, no more unsightly lines. Should have tried a new texture set before coming to avsim yapping about my problem! :-) Thanks for the help. Now I am just waiting on Stephen to respond to my post on editing my ShadersHLSL. [edit] And he just did!!!
