fsx installation of planes?

First for example!!i downloaded the harrier gr7 for fsx to install it says just put the GR7 folder in sim objects/planes which i did,come to select plane from menu,it has no texture,its white?i also get this problem with SOME other aircraft,even a dvd bought aircraft ie: typhoon for fsx,please tell me whats wrong?mike:Black Eye: :(

There are a number of aircraft that show up as white in FSX when using the DX10 preview mode. The Wilco 737 is a good example of that.

What's the filename of the plane you downloaded? It would help. Regards, Bob.

The aircraft may state it is for FSX (almost all FS9 aircraft are compatibile) but textures are a different story. If you have DX10 Preview turned on, the textures will be white. You'll have to get the textures converted to the FSX format or turn off DX10 Preview.Best regards,Jim
