February 25, 201115 yr Hey Simmers, and tech guys, I have a couple of questions and could use some good advise.I just up graded an old machiene, it's a P4 3.0GHz.. I just put a HIS Radeon 4670 1G AGP video card in, and I just ordered 2 more Gig of ram, which will give me a total of 4Gig of ram. I'm runnig MSFS 2004 (FS9) on a windows xp pro system. (I'm doing all of this because I can't afford to start building a new system. My kidneys failed in 2008, and I've been on dialysis since. I've always love flight simming and am slowly getting back into it.)Question 1: The video card. any advise on settings ( what to turn on or off ) will be greatly appreciated.Question 2 : Add ons. I wanting to add the Atlanta heartsfield area but not sure which scenery to get. I also want to add traffic.. ie Delta and others, againnot sure what to get. I will be adding other purchased aircraft add-ons as time goes on, but would like to start some traffic going and a little scenery first.I do have JustFlights C-130 add on that I love. It's a frame eating hog but settles once in the air. I also have Flight Softs "Fly to Hawaii" but lost the product codefor it, so Imgoing to get a hold of those guys and see if I can get one.Any and all help and advise is greatly appriciated, Thanks in advance!Randy

But if you want a simple install all at once (PAI you need to download each livery and install it) there is Mytraffic and a few others at simmarket where I do my business.Do you want a freeware Atlanta? Or payware?Daniel

February 26, 201115 yr For KATL, Imaginesim is probably the best representation available:http://www.imaginesim.com/katl01.htm Regards, Mark
February 26, 201115 yr Author Thanks everyone for all the great tips so far. I've checked every single one of these out and lots of great tips! Now just deciding which one to go with! I'm finding that there is a lot more to choose from than I thought. I don't mind paying for software that folks have put a lot of time and effort into. It usually installs, and runs better in the long run, plus you get tech support. I just have to be frugel with the green. Again, lots of great ideas and suggestions. Keep 'em flyin'R.Allen
