New Corsair Mid Tower case?

Featured Replies

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811139004Found this link on newegg while searching for cases...Looks excellent - basically a smaller version of their 800D. What I would love to know is will the Noctua DH14 with fans fit into this case? I always thought their 800D was my dream case but it's so freaking huge I doubt I have the space for it. So Then I was thinking mid size either this one, the Coolermaster Storm Scout, or the Antec 900. But I like the cases with the easy-to-remove side panels and square openings for the aftermarket coolers. Makes install much easier.I store my current PC under my desk and I don't think I'd have much more space from a lateral perspective. My desk is a corner "L" desk so any more width from a new case means I have to pull my desk away from the wall. Space is finite for me :)Any of you guys run mid towers with quality aftermarket coolers? What case/cooler combos?

Looks amazing. My CM 690 is smaller and the NH-D14 fits in it, so it should fit in that one too

Bah, the brushed look is so sexy! It looks like the Obsidian statue from 2001: A Space Odyssey :Big Grin: Excellent, I think it's definitely the case I want - now hurry up Intel and get those P67 boards back out!

I'm actually having a difficult time deciding between the Corsair 600T and the 650D... I really like the 600T, but it seems as if the 650D has more space for a radiator and fans at the top, which is what I'm looking for in my next case. The 600T can't fit a thick radiator. Also, it appears as if the 650D has holes for 140mm radiators - huge plus! I don't really like side panel windows though.Edit: From Corsair's website

The top fan can be replaced by dual 120mm or 140mm fans, and is pre-spaced for a dual radiator if you’re interested in watercooling
With that said, I think I may be sold on the 650D after all. It's kind of boxy and has a side panel window, but I want my next case to be function over form.

The 650D is really sexy. I like less lines and functionality. The catch is: $200 for a mid tower. No thanks! I'd fork over $70 more for their full tower 700/800D.I spent $90 shipping on my case and it has lots of bells and whistles and runs cold/looks classy (I HATE gaudy, tacky looking cases). The 650D is just too expensive for me now, though! Get me one if you're feeling charitable.

Yeah, $200 is a ton of money for a mid tower. But I really want the functionality of a full-tower without the enormous size. The ability to fit a 280mm radiator in that 650D is very appealing as well, though don't ask me where I'm going to find the money to buy the case AND the water cooling hardware...

The Corsair is nice but that's a bunch of money. I've been using an Antec DF-35 and it really keeps everything cool. It's got plenty of room and is pretty inexpensive. I can't say that I like the front panel's techno design but as far as doing it's job, the ambient temp inside the case is perfect and the price is right.Mark
