Where were you on 9/11/02?

I was being driven to school that day and turned the car readio on. I started listening to news instead of searching for music-the only time in my life I ever did that. My mom shut it off, but just before she did, i heard something about slamming in the WTC. I turned it back on, and just coundn't believe what I was hearing. Sad day indeed. None of the teachers said anything and no TV's were on.http://turnhead.com/dot/alex/banner-retro-cool.gif

I read some stats on just how much of an impact 9/11 had on us. I'm shedding light for those who believe that the changes in this world were 'negligible'.In a matter of hours followng the first attack, over 4000 domestic flights were on the ground without a single mishap.Worldwide, at least 10 million people had a friend, relative or spouse that perished on 9/1111% of Americans now have Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Of those, 50% are classified as chronic26 Countries lost many of their own on 9/11America and Russia are now closer than ever to a strategic partnership. The ABM Treaty is history (and Russia took it in stride...)40 people on flight 93 single-handedly saved countless other lives and possibly our Nation's Capitol.Exactly one year later, the Pentagon is complete, our resolve has been galvanized and the world is collectively amazed at how Americans have pulled together through this. ...amazed at how 50 states that see no need to succeed from the Union, that see no need to dissolve relations with the motherland, that see no need to rebel and rise up against it's neighbors, as is customary throughout the rest of the world (Russia, Asia, South Amercia.. Middle East, Europe)Amazed that we have come through this stronger than before. Those events and circumstances my friend, are certainly not the definition of 'Negligible'."We Will Never Forget"
