March 1, 201115 yr I had a situation occur tonight and thought I'd share it.At engine start step I order #1 engine start and no problems, then I order #2 engine start but I forgot to flip the fuel cutoff to ON.Seeing that I wasn't really paying attention I call for "After Start Checklist" and the FO turns off the APU amongst his/her other duties.I, for the life of me, could not get #2 engine to start, tried all manual start steps, nogo. Ended up having to restart FSX.Is it normal that the FO will go ahead and do his/her checklist even though there is a no-start situation?I just wanted to FYI, in case a patch is planned in the future this situation can be kept in the loop.Just to clarify, I'm 100% at fault here, for if I was paying attention this would not even be an issue. This is a phenomenal product, it is so much more efficient talking and having a more active FO than trying to manhandle the cockpit alone.Bob
March 1, 201115 yr Commercial Member Hi Bob,The FO's smart in a way because we have an SDK, but he can't babysit you 100 percent all the way :( Just make sure you start both engines next time :( Cheers, B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
