I am having trouble getting my flight plans to tranfer from radar contact to FS-9 and still keep the same waypoints What am i doing wrong?

Open your .pln file in Notepad and copy/paste it in a reply here. What program are you using to create the flightplan? What waypoint changes are you referring to? If you are creating the plan from a route somewhere and pasting it in to a planner paste that route here as well.Depending on your work flow I suspect your planner may not be expanding SIDs and STARs because of an out of date database between your route source and your planner. I'll look at your route and then exported plan here in your reply. This forum only accepts trext file pastes and no longer accepts .zip files.

the flight plan you load in fs9, should be the same flight plan you load into rc.jd

I am not sure I know how to do what you ask,I plan my flight in FSC-8 and save it, then I open ASE and put the flight plan in there, then I open FS-9 with ASE,Set my plane at airport and ramp then put the flight plan into FS-9, the I minimize FS-9 and start Radar Contact save the plane in RC and then start RC I print out a flight plan and compare it with FS-9 and they usually are not the same I dont understand why. and I know it has to be something that I am doing wrong....... Thanks For the Help

You enter into RC4 the FS9 plan you exported from FSC-8. RC does not get information from ASE or from FS9 about your plan. RC4 has no function to print a flight plan. Are you referring to the plan displayed in the RC preflight window centered under the RC banner? FSC and ASE can print flight plans. What I was asking you to do was go to your folder where FS flight plans are stored. Mine is:"C:\Documents and Settings\Ron Ginsberg\My Documents\Flight Simulator Files"and that path (without quote marks) should be set in the RC path setup for flt, wx, and .pln files. That should also be the destination for your FSC FS9 files. (By the way, if ASE has an option to convert flight plan formats disable that.)Open in Wordpad or notepad a .pln file you are having a problem with. Highlight the entire plan by dragging your mouse cursor over all of the text.Reply to this thread here and click paste to include the plan details. Don't say OK yet.If you created your route by pasting a published route into FSC, or just entered the route into FSC, add those route waypoints to the reply. Highlight the waypoints in the route you entered and the ones in the plan you pasted in that are of concern to you. To do that in your reply, just drag over each line of your concern your mouse cursor and then click the 'I' button above the reply to highlight that line in italics. Repeat this for each line of concern. Now open RC4 and load that .pln file. Take your mouse and drag over the plan area that is centered just below the RC title banner line. Type ctrl-c to copy that to your windows clip board. Now in your reply that you are composing place the mouse cursor in the next line and type ctrl-v or click Edit/Paste on your browser. Here's one of mine:EDDF to LEBL@38000 (Alt1- , Alt2-) / DF134.DF141.DF143.DF137.RID.ANEKI.BADLI.PABLA.HERBI.MOPAN.OLBEN.LUTIX.BENOT.NEMOS.VEROX.MILPA.GIRKU.BALSI.KURIR.MTL.NAKIS.BOLSA.PPG.ALBER.GIR.D052J.SLL.If you want describe which details are the problem and then OK the reply here to post it. If waypoints are missing in the blue RC flight window within FS mention that as well. This will tell me the route you entered into FSC8, the FS9 format .pln file it put out, and how RC4 saw it. I'll also take your information and build it with my flight planner to see what I get especially in terms of waypoint positions and distances that have an effect (based on your options) of what RC shows and does during your flight. This is a bit lengthy to do but it will help me and possibly other users here understand what you are getting at.Thanks for doing this.
