November 18, 200322 yr When I load the Project Fokker 70 in FS9, I get an error message that the PF70 Blanski gauge can not be loaded.. if I proceed, I get the panel without the radios and autopilot.I've heard that others have not encountered this problem.. is there a known workaround, interim to the FS9 version being released?I've disabled the gauge and substituted the Bendix King autopilot, which works fine, but does look out of place.. November 18, 200322 yr I have the Project Fokker F70/100's running OK.Firstly, there are some instructions for upgrading to FS9 on the Project Fokker website /www.avsim.com/fokker/Secondly, I have an unregistered (i.e. freeware) FS2004 version of FSUIPC running. The latest version is at Avsim as fsuipc_3.12.zip.The Project Fokker notes suggest that you either need a registered (payware) version of FSUIPC or none at all.I'm not sure that is correct and I'd suggest you make sure you have at least a free, unregistered FS2004 FSUIPC installed and not and old FS2002 FSUIPC version and try again.
November 18, 200322 yr When I started moving across from FS2002 to FS2004, I copied aircraft over rather than reinstalling them. Of course, you have to find all the related gauge, effect and sound files to go with them!In fact, where there are automated installers designed for FS2002 (as with the Fokker), it's not easy to see where the files are going when you try to get them into FS2004.Have you got all the gauge files in the right place - either in the Gauges directory or in the Panel directory itself?
November 18, 200322 yr Author I think you are correct... I believe I missed FSSound.dll :-(But after re-looking at all the files (and re-copying the Blanski gauge just to make sure..) it is working great! Thanks for your help!If you are interested, I am about to release a RealityXP JL2 panel conversion for the Fokker 70/100 at the RealityXP site. Bert
