FSX SDK Object placement problem

Featured Replies

HiI have been using the object placement tool to place some deafult scenery objects in an xml file. When I re-open the xml file to continue working, some of the objects have disappeared but yellow box containers remain, much enlarged. These have be selected from the list to be deleted. I keep cleaning this mess up but it keeps on recurring. Does anyone know what is wrong?ThanksJason

Hello Jason,The Object Placement Tool is rather buggy, unfortunately. The best solution is to create all the object placement in one try, and not attempt to re-open an xml file for modifications. If you wish to add more objects, then create a new placement file.Best regards.Luis
