Repaint request for the upcoming NGX

Featured Replies

Hi all, just a quick post. I hope that PMDG will include the following aircraft in their list of repaints. It's the Royal Australian Air Force Boeing 737-7DT (http://www.airforce.gov.au/Aircraft/BBJ.aspx). Granted, obviously not every request can be done, however I would love to see this on their list...raafb7377dt.jpgraafb7377dtnight.jpg

By the way, the above screenshots are of the PMDG B737-700 in the RAAF livery...

Didn't PMDG announce that they weren't going to make military versions? Or it could be a repaint made on the Civilian 737-700... Thinking.gif

Thanks,

That's technically a BBJ there Kevin, it's not actually one one of the custom-made military variants... If we do the BBJs I'm sure this will be an easy repaint to make, nothing difficult about the scheme.

The real aircraft (in the website link) is a -700 with the -800's landing gear and wings, plus a few other modifications. The repaint above is just a plain old PMDG B737-700 model for FS9, the paint done by John Tavendale. But I'd be happy to see that repaint on just a plain PMDG B737-700 FSX model in the NGX until a BBJ was done, if one is done.

It's a BBJ... that stuff about it being a -700 with the -800s gear and other mods is the definition of a BBJ. It has extended fuel tanks too.Even if we don't paint it on a fictional 700, someone will do it for you I'm sure. Paintkit should be available on day one.

Cool, wish I could afford Photoshop to learn how to do my own repaints.
