March 28, 201115 yr Hi. I just recently installed RC on a client PC for use with wide fs. Everything is working fine, except that my flight numbers are being spoken digit by digit "one zero one seven", instead of "ten seventeen", etc. Any ideas?
March 29, 201115 yr Commercial Member Nobody?Seems right to me. And anyway, why specifically "ten seventeen", why not "one thousand and seventeen" or "one zero seventeen". I always thought calls signs were properly ennumerated. Seems usually that way when you listed to real ATC, at least here in Europe. Maybe you've been listening to some controllers taking shortcuts?RegardsPete Win10: 22H2 19045.2728 CPU: 9900KS at 5.5GHz Memory: 32Gb at 3800 MHz. March 30, 201115 yr I think it depends on how you type it in the Radar Contact flight number window. Try typing "10 17" instead of "1017".-Al

I have tried to split the numbers like that, but I have been flying in Europe since I did the separate install, so maybe the rules are in place. Thanks, JD!@Pete, yes, here in the US the flight numbers are pronounced like that. Give Liveatc.net a try at US airports sometime ;)
