March 29, 201115 yr Hello Everyone,Ok , i have just put in FS9 into my pc , but everytime i take off and begin to climb the aircraft undergoes a very serious stall , this happens with every aircraft at around 18000 ft or above , also when the aircraft climbs the angle of attack is very very high , i mean for a vertical speed of 400ft/min the AOA is 8 degrees....this is happening with every aircraft , i dont know why , i use FSinn and have tried for both VASTIM and CAVOK Wx .....It just seems to happen needlessly!!...Thanks for any help and Regards!
March 29, 201115 yr 3 things to think about first: icing, very high ambient temperatures and not enough thrust. What's your default saved flight? I had a similar problem where I saved my default flight in icing conditions and every time I started FS the stall speeds were unreasonably high due to icing e.g. 200kts for a 777 at takeoff, which is higher than the flap overspeed limit.

March 29, 201115 yr Author Iam sorry but what is TAT ( something to do with temperature i gueess..)......hw do we change it and also where can we find it!??

Lots of aircraft will fly at an AoA of 15 degrees in certain configurations. Are you sure you're actually talking about angle of attack? Most aircraft don't have an AoA gauge so you wouldn't know what it was. If you're talking about nose up pitch relative to the horizon (as shown on the artificial horizon) then the same thing applies though, 8 degrees is nothing. What aircraft are you using when this happens? And not to state the obvious but... gear & flaps up?
March 29, 201115 yr This is just a hunch, but take a look at Settings and click the Realism page. Be sure you have chosen to Display Indicated Airspeed. Never have it set to Display True Airspeed. It makes a huge difference.Regards,JerryH

March 31, 201115 yr Author Ok , I did change it from True to Indicated airspeed , and yess it happens for every aircraft..!!Thanks for the help!RegardsAtamvir
