Actual performance is a combination of the .air file AND the aircraft.cfgThere are many alterations one can easily make to any aircraft.cfg, but unless YOU are an experienced pilot of the real aircraft how would you know if it was more realistic or less? Still, you can make many adjustments in performance with the cfg: speed, agility, responsiveness etc. I was not happy with the ultralight - nor with most default aircraft - as it seemed too sluggish to be FUN to fly.tongue-in-cheek:I asked mine what it dreamed it really was and it said that in its heart it knew it should have been a Pitts.I limbered up my magic keyboard and gave it the heart of a Pitts and numerous 'adjustments' in the config and now we happily fly from 35kts stall speed to more than 170kts -- 200+ when diving down the side of a mountain. We've surveyed our world from over 22000' and can fly level on a wingtip and turn 180° in the width of a runway. It loves aerobatics, I think. When I come back to it after flying something like the Extra, it looks at me like as if asking what in the world I see in that sluggish old 'truck'.We're been very happy together for over 650 hrs.If I can't have a real Mountain Banshee (ikran), then my "Ultra" is the next best thing.Loyd
