Since this might not make the PSS forum...

I was really looking forward to the A320 update. Seeing as how the A320/A330/A340 have basically the same cockpit I thought it would be a given that we would have a clickable VC in the latest version of the PSS A320. They (PSS) mentioned they wouldn't be doing any major work on the A320 but click spots in the VC is basic FS2k4 standard fare these days. How hard would it have been for them to carry over the work they did for the A330/340. Click spots in the updated A320 2D panel don't work so the plane is basically unflyable in FS2k4. I can't understand how a developer who only a year and a half ago release such ground breaking work can turn around a year later and pull this kind of mess... You would think they would take enough pride in their work to continue developing and enhancing their design, not give up and basically tell us to like it or leave it. The A320 was/is my favorite airliner and if this is the kind of crap PSS is going to pull then I guess I'm done. I will not buy another PSS product for the simple fact I know there won't be any growth or decent support for it in the future. I can't even contact them to get issues resolved on their so called support forum.PSS is rapidly going the way of companies like Wilco. You can't even talk or reason with these guys and to think they had the best Airbuses on the market (who will take their place, I hope someone does). Why do these guys have a support forum when they have no intention on listening to their customers wishes anyway. Maybe someone in their camp is going through some hard times... First the buggy A330/340 (which has yet to be fixed) and now look at the fate of the A320. Unless someone underground is planning on surprising us, there's little hope of a decent payware A320 on the horizon for FS2k4, only Boeings...Thanks allot PSS....

I agree. PSS have just relegated themselves to nothing more than a money grabbing third grade developer. Hell many of the freeware guys take more pride than these cowboys.Their forum is third grade and discourages any customer feedback and/or support.Their attitude not only towards their customers, but their own work leaves one hell of a lot to be desired and that is what surprises me most. I thought PSS had pride in their work. The update to the A320 is third grade and has introdced some new problems. As you say, no functionality and a lack of usable instruments within the VC.Oh well, it was made for FS2002 I guess and that is reflected by the attitude of the developers. At this stage it barely works with FS9, but I guess that is my problem. But at least I know what to do about it and I will never buy from this crowd again until I see a marked improvement. But more importantly, one can only hope that they do not market the A320 as a useable FS9 product as that would be akin to blatant false advertising. If they do, then I hope the flightsim community will make their feelings shown and protect any other consumers from being ripped off with some very strong protests and boycotts.Hell, the freeware stuff leaves this for dead! Now onto their other updates. Has anything really been fixed? I am at a loss here ... or maybe we are witnessing the birth of a new company called PSSWilco!Very disappointed at the way payware is going.ANZ121

I was very disappointed in PSS several months back when I heard they were going to release a A330/340 before patching or updating their other packages. It appeared I was the only one on these forums that felt it made little sense for PSS to discard their 747 and 777 products the way they did. I thought these packages worthy of being on the top of PSS's priority list. Funny they didn't see it that way ?? It's not a good sign but I hope they do get their $#%T together.Steve

Shall we start our own bug list for PSS ...?1. Their aircraft cum panels are the worst frame eaters than any other aircraft or panel in the FS community!2. Did you see what their aircraft does when you have a wind change, it's either nose down or nose up resulting in one thing: it regrets us to tell you that yet another PSS aircraft has crashed - killing everyone on board!3. The VC is still not clickable4. The engins are still over powered and the trim is far too sensitive5. They could still not get it that the cargo doors open with SFT 1 or 2 or 3 or use the tailhook command or anything else. It opens when you start FS but after a flight it either frozen up, or broken resulting in PAX who will not get their bags!... please add your own

I've believed for a long time PSS are in this game for one thing only - the money, offically they deny it but nevertheless they never fail to produce products or the inevitable number of patches to their initial 'beta' payware release, that clearly support my claim. Noone who takes pride in their work, release the sort of stuff they do. It's often embarassingly substandard. PSS need to address a) their ridiculous forum censorship and :( the quality of their products and patches, otherwise they will continue to lose customers on a daily basis.

Guys I need to say this so here goes1- We only said we would make the Dash8, A320 series and Vulcan FS2004 compatible. We never agreed to do any upgrades. This is absurd you purchase and aircraft for Fs2002 and the expectit to be a FS2004 model. Doesn't make sense to me but that is the logic you have expressed.2- IF you have a problem after the patch then post it to the PSS forum not here. We are aware of of all the comments and we are looking to see why they are happeneing. They did not occur when we tested the patches and we are not sure why they are happening now.3- I have all of the aircraft patched and on my system with none of the problems you are describing. So go post in the PSs forum or write me at support and we will do our best to get you up and flying.Robert KirklandPSS [email protected]http://www.avsim.com/pss/phoenix.jpg
