November 28, 200322 yr This is actually pretty good. The problem with water color in FS is that in real life water color varies depending where you are. In FS it is one color that has to fit all locations.Deep green would be ok only for inland bodies of water, definitely not for oceanic waters. Too much turquise and you are getting water that only exist in tropical latitudes. So, assuming we are looking for an "average" water your color above looks not far from ideal. I might even subtract a bit of turquoise tint. In fact ideal average water color would be something that is neither blue, nor green, nor grey - a sort of non-descriptive color. This is how 98% of water in the world looks like.If you are looking for inspiration I would head to the nearest bookstore (say Borders, etc) where they have many elegant, coffee-table type illustrated books. Browse around and you will find a book with some aerial photography and no doubt there will be water too. You are doing good job, good luck.Michael J. Michael J.
