Aerosoft Luxembourg Airports Update

Hey flightsimmers out on the world!I was to introduce you my little "Enhancement" for Aerosoft Luxembourg Airport for FS2004 (FS9). This is my little project and I want to enhance the Luxembourg Airport in FS9 (maybe later FSX) to the best up-to-date scenery of the world. I know a lot of the airport as I am living in Luxembourg! Did I say "Luxembourg"? Where is that? Well Luxembourg is here: Click me! The airport is here: Click me! You will maybe say now: "Yes and? It's an airport like all the other aswell!" Wrong! Luxembourg is the only airport in Europe which has a sloped runway! Yes look here! (Badly that only in FSX this is displayed!) And ELLX is the homebase of Luxair and the homebase of Cargolux! As a consequence a lot of cargo traffic can be seen in Luxembourg. You want to visit ELLX in real? Consider this page to be up-to-date about ARRIVALS/DEPARTURES and aswell the official page.If you want to visit it virtual, I recommend to you to buy Aerosoft Luxembourg Airports for FS9/FSX and to update your scenery with the following file in the AVSIM library: aerosoftluxembourgairportsupdatev5.zip Then you can enjoy Luxembourg as it is now!I opened this thread to look around for suggestions/opinions/... about "my expansion". The following will be done in version 6 which has already Beta-status and which should be released soon:

• The following airlines had been added to the AFCAD

• Silk Way
• Saudi Arabian
• Saudi Arabian Cargo
• KLM (removed from Gate/Ramp and added to Maintenance)

• Some changes in parking codes (parking codes updated)

• Start locations positioned on/near the hold short (You will not start anymore directly on the runway!)

• Tesis 747-200F (situated near the tower) is now totally static and will not fly at any time!

What are your suggestions to "enhance" the airport more? What do you want to have?I hope you enjoyed the scenery and that you will enjoy further releases!greets Kevin

Actually I'm very interested but I couldn't find this airport at Aerosoft?I'm sure lots of people are interested :(

This is where I'm confusing.At Aerosoft it is said to only compatible with FSX while in simmarket it is both. Or there are 2 different packages?

What does the update actually do? Is it pretty much an Afcad only update or am I missing something?:( I also see some files in the zip, such as those from AIA, that are not supposed to be redistributed?As for the scenery itself, there is an FS9 version, but the quality is not on par with various other Aerosoft branded sceneries. The ground textures for example, are only so-and-so...

About the AIA files. I needed to add them because the "static" plane is until V6 an AI Plane which flies at "unusual hours", where normally no plane will land. In V6 those files are not needed anymore!I have aswell contacted AIA/the painter and they never said that they don't want that I use their files or distribute them!I'll try aswell to work on the textures...but that needs time as I don't have any graphical knowledge...greets Kevin

If they haven't replied, then that is just that, they haven't replied. Do not deduce from that a positive or negative stance towards one thing or the other. But I am just rambling, so don't worry about it.:(
