Hello folks outhere , i may have problem that i may know the problem.my system.w7 ult 64i72600kh-60 water cooledgigabyte ud3 b38 gig 1600 2x4 stickspny gtx 285 1024 vid card antec 650 watts PS (this may be my problem)1.350 terra hd x two hard drivestwo dvd drives4 120mm fanspump motor on h.60 draws power for pumpim suspecting it to be the power supply.i understand that the 285 alone needs 550watts , does not leave much room for other devices to run.the sim will freeze when i start it up.that is where im looking first , and that i will need a bigger power supply.thinking of going with the corsair , or antec 1200 ps.if that is not the problem i can only think that the drivers are not good. i have the lastest beta driver, 270.55 , still a lock up.does anyone know of the best drivers for a 285 gtx.thanks........................Robert 0 ipb.global.registerReputation( 'rep_post_1220857', { app: 'forums', type: 'pid', typeid: '1220857' }, parseInt('0') );

Run OCCT, it's a free-ware stress tester, it'll show you the voltage lines among other things. May not be wattage but faulty voltage. I once wasted a weeks worth of tweaking 'cause I hadn't realized my psu was junk.Bjorn
