Thrustmaster T.Flight Hotas X question

Featured Replies

Hello AllToday I bought this joystick and on a very quick fiddle about it does appear to be very impressive for its price. There is just one thing though whilst mapping most of the simulator commands is very straightforward,I cant map the F9 key to a button on the stick (to open and close fs nav )I could do this with my old Saitek cyborg .Maybe I am missing something as I have only had the stick a couple of hours.Any ideas welcomeAndy

You haven't plugged in a TrackIR too? It'll use F9 for de-/activation, so two assignments on one button perhaps the problem? Bjorn

Thanks Bjorn No I haven't got TIR.I have a feeling that with this stick you may only be able to map the commands in FS9 ASSIGNMENTS .I don't think F9 features in ASSIGNMENTS (I think I know what I am trying to say biggrin.gif)Andy

Try using FSUIPC then, that ought to cure the problem. And if you google Sim Samurai you get the best tutorial. :-)Bjorn
