April 13, 201115 yr Just got my CH Eclipse yoke out of the box and installed with software but don't have a clue how to create a profile of button assignments. Software does not appear to come with a manual so am wondering if there is any literature on this. Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Rick Hobbs
April 13, 201115 yr Hi wanabflyer,The Users Guide is under the Yellow Book icon on the tool bar in the GUI. You can also click the "What's This? button and then click on something on the screen, it will give a brief explanation and if you ask it to, it will link you to the correct place in the Users Guide. Finally, the Users Guide is on the web at:http://www.stickworks.com/contents.htmI also have a PDF of it:http://www.stickworks.com/cm4guide.zipThe PDF is in the zip. You can print that, but have lots of ink around, it will run out to nearly 200 pages. If you drop over to the CH Hangar:http://www.ch-hangar.comYou can get a lot of info. Look for Ghosts "Dummies Guide", it's a basic tutorial on creating a map, etc., where the Users Guide is more a reference. There are a lot of people over there that understand it, too. You shouldn't have any trouble getting help with the program if you need it.Hope this is of some help!Best regards,- BobThe StickWorkshttp://www.stickworks.com
April 14, 201115 yr Author Hi Bob. Thanks for all the info. Hope it covers how to assign buttons to keyboard presses as i fly the PMDG 747x and as you know some of the functions are tied to keyboard assignments and can't be accessed through the normal FSX/Options/Controls method. I am assuming it can be done because there are a lot of PMDG 747 people out there using this yoke.Regards, Rick Hobbs
April 14, 201115 yr Personally I would recommend you only use the CH Manager for calibrating all your axis (and setting reverse zones at 240 for the reverse detent of throttles), delete every and all setting in FSX and assign the totality of your controls via a registered version of FSUIPC 4: You get the most flexibility and all your assignments are in one place.Cheers,- jahman.

Yes you are probably right and it is something i will be looking at a little later. Just got this purchase approved by the boss (if you know what i mean ) so will have to make do for now. Rick Hobbs
