getting the AI to taxi down a diffferent taxiway

Featured Replies

I have figure out from the last few messages here on how to get aircraft on the list and get ai working and its great...but im wondering how to advance the AI and get them to fly out of different runways and different side taxiways, if thats what they are called (coulered in black) comiong from the north parking spots (checkered) and then the runway 27/9 which is also a checkered color. How do i get them to randomly hold shot at random hold short nodes along the main runway...any idea...or is thais impossible??

What you want has nothing to do with Ttools. Much of it can be done with whatever software you are using to edit airports. I'm guessing you have some software because you used the term "hold short nodes". If you don't have any software, may I suggest ADE (Airport Design Editor)and their support forum at FSDeveloper.com. Hi,In real life, planes generally take off from one end of the runway Tounge.gif I don't see why you would want them to hold short at one of the points along the runway?Cheers,Jack

Hi Jack. I did it a few times, at the CYHU airport: take off from taxi way ROMEO, near 24R.I rented CESSNAs, and I had to go on those taxiways: T, P, R, from Cargair school. B-)And now, at CSB3 airport, we take off on runway 15 from the short taxiway. When we take off from 33, we have no choice. B-)Blue skies.
