I know you can set the textures to invisible, but I use FSPassengers and not being able to see exactly where the strip is might be a problem. I doubt there is any solution to your "problem". There is a Instant Scenery 2 program over at FlightOne that might work but not familiar enough with that program to say for sure. Personally I find it strange anyone would want to change any of the grass/dirt airstrip textures as very few users fly into a dirt/grass airstrip unless there is a professionally completed product such as the freeware for Vashon Island put out by FTX.Best regards,Jim

FSPassengers deducts points for not landing on the runway, or so I believe. It's main job is to give me flight data at the end, rank me, track my progress, and instigate random failures.I'm completing a flight around the world so Orbx is great when I'm in it (started my journey in AU) using FSEconomy, as well, so I'm flying jobs along the way to make cash. This lets me see a lot more of the world, because I'm doing it in a Mooney. It's all pretty neat actually.Anywho, I was able to find this: http://secure.simmarket.com/fsxt-fsx-texture-boost.phtml and http://secure.simmarket.com/aero-files-texture-booster-pack-fsx.phtml however lack of many images or reviews makes it tough for me to actually buy it.

OOOHH you want to improve textures OUTSIDE of ORBX?? yes?if that is the case you need, GEX, google it, very nice addon indeed.
