April 15, 201115 yr HiI wonder if it will be possible in v5 fly IFR in areas without radar vectoring information but with HF traffic information e.g 8888 and aircraft making IFBP Blind on 126.90?If not...I want to suggestion this!thanks
April 15, 201115 yr Is this topic what your question is about?Destination Airport not Served by Approach on page 47 of the RC 4.3 user manual already implemented? Are you talking also about aircraft inter communications where an airport controller is not present such as CTAF aircraft position reports in the IAP and traffic pattern under VFR and IFR conditions?

IFBP is the "In-Flight Broadcast Procedure", an IATA procedure for use in the AFI region - i.e. Africa - where, in parts, en-route ATC provision for IFR flights varies from minimal to non-existent. The procedure consists of pilots transmitting their own position reports and level change intentions in English on a common frequency (126.9) for the benefit of other pilots in the vicinity to enable them to provide their own separation.
April 16, 201115 yr Thanks, Pete. For this to work in RC5 I would imagine be a major change. If jd would write a CTAF (similar procedure for non-controlled airports - Common Traffic Advisory Frequency) for airport localities where applicable I would then imagine the same routine (programming wise) would be similar based on an FIR (or lack thereof) database area.It would probably not be in the initial few releases of RC5 but one never knows :)
April 16, 201115 yr It would probably not be in the initial few releases of RC5 ...I think I would be inclined to agree with that. :( P.
April 16, 201115 yr really seems to be quite complicated to simulate this .... but what will be the opinion of JD?

April 17, 201115 yr Yes.....What is the possibility of inplement procedures IFBP..in AFI region!you can do this in RC V5?
April 19, 201115 yr Commercial Member Yes.....What is the possibility of inplement procedures IFBP..in AFI region!you can do this in RC V5?i can't comment. there are other things to be done, which are ahead of this on the list of things to do.jd JD Read my blog
