April 20, 201115 yr Hi All,I have virtually all fs2 crew addons installed for Fs9 and Fsx.My problem is I have installed an ATI driver for HD 3800 series graphic card latest release 11.3.Every time I click the apropiate gauge either in Fs9 or Fsx I get a CTD.My previous card was a NVIDEA 8800GTX which worked fine.No problem with the Fs2 crew software as I if I use a native windows vista 32 driver all is fine.Any help would be appreciated, It only happens with the recently fitted ATI card and the latest driver.Just about to purchase the IFly 737NG voice software.Bryan you do a magnicent job.Regards Andy

April 21, 201115 yr Hi Bryan,I use the Voice Control versions for LevelD, PIC 737,PMDG747, and Button control for iFly 737NG.I have installed the Latest release ATI Driver 11.3 released 23/03/2011.I have also checked my netframework now at version 4.I also have the latest direct X drivers. The ctd is happening on all versions both in Fs9 and Fsx as soon as I click on the relevant gauge it gives an error message saying someting has stopped Flight Simulator working and will now shut down.Windows Vista 32 bit with UAC disabled and full administrator rights. The reason I thought the problem was video driver related was because if I remove the ATI HD3800 Radeon driver and just use the native Windows driver all works fine.Anyway I am expecting a new Nvidea card today so I will pop that in with the latest drivers and see what happens.I am wondering if a setting in the catalyst control center could be the problem. Thanks for the prompt response.Regards Andy
April 21, 201115 yr Commercial Member There's clearly an issue with your ATI card; what it is I couldn't guess. We have a very large number of users and I'm sure many use ATI cards. So hard to say.Let us know how things go with the new Nvidea card.Cheers, B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
April 25, 201115 yr Hi Bryan, I have fitted new Nvidea card with latest drivers. Have completely re installed windows Vista 32 with all service packs. Fresh install of Fs9 with latest sevice pack. Button control version of iFly 737Ng UAC Disabled. Again when clicking on Gauge to activate Fs2 crew a CTD and Fs9 shuts down. The problem report states FS2AUDIO.dll is cusing the CTD. It is in the correct place in my system 32 folder. I have tried a fresh install of Fs2Crew IFly version 1.4 (Ihave SP2.1 installed for the iFly 737NG which is working perfectly). The latest dx9 drivers are correctly installed. The latest FSUIPC registered. Netframework checked correct. HELP PLEASE as I have many fs2 crew editions at the moment I cant get any of them to work due to this FS2AUDIO.dll crashing Fs9. Your Help would be most appreciated.Regards Andy
April 25, 201115 yr Commercial Member Hi Andy,That narrows it down. There is one known thing that causes havok with the FS2Audio DLL, and that's other programs that attempt to strip DRM rights from Digital Music.I've seen this before with other users.Make sure any and all programs that monkey with music files are not running on your computer prior to loading FS2Crew.Cheers, B.
