Another 2600k in the hanger

I just ordered the hardware to build out a new PC and cannot wait until it arrives! My old system is a Q9550 @ 2.8 with an ATi 5770. I would say my biggest problem were blurries. Frame rate, in most cases could be kept in the high teens except around high-density areas (Anchorage kills me, down below 7fps). A decent system but showing its' age.I am moving to the i7-2600k with an H70 for cooling on the P8P67 Deluxe loaded up with 2x4 GB of Corsair Vengeance and an Asus GTX580. The OS will be on a Crucial SATA III SSD and FSX on a WD 1 TB SATA III drive.I am hoping so see some improvement!Once build I'd like to run FSXMark11 to see just how I stack up.I am new to nVidia so I'll be curious to see how the graphics look. I will need some advise as I have never OC'd but I would love to see just where I can take this system. The only thing I am dreading is the re-load of all the add-ons - ugh.Kevin

Kevin, you will be thrilled with the increase of performance, guaranteed!Kind regards,

I came from a Q9550 at 3.6GHz. Aside from flying into large airports, it performed very well. Anyway, NICE upgrade!

I am hoping so see some improvement!
Haha, this cracks me up. No worries, the improvement will be HUGE!
