April 24, 201115 yr Hello, I'm just getting back into Flight sim after 3 years....FSX laughed at my previous systems, but now I have one that laughed back. I have an I7 2600K and with no overclocking I'm getting above 20 frames per second with everything maxed...finally! I have my Captain Sim 707 and 727 installed, Rex 2, Ground Environment X North America, FlyTampa KBUF (my original hometown) and KFLL (my adopted hometown). Now, if I fly out of either airport...about 15 minutes later the ground textures turn gray or white and I have to go to an alternate airport. I understand Buffalo turning white since it snows all year except 2 weeks...but KFLL? The response I got back was that I have DirectX 10 preview enabled, how would I disable that and is that the problem?Another nice tidbit, I have to RMA my ASUS P8P67 Deluxe motherboard because I get random reboots (no stop codes, bluescreens) and all other hardware checks out. Thanks,Boeing I7 2600K ASUS P8P67 Deluxe 16 gigs Kingston 1600mhz DDR3 ram EVGA GTX 580 H70 cooler Windows 7 64bit Ultimate

Thanks,BoeingYou could check in the hardware forums but it looks like your system is having problems in loading textures from memory, could be a timing problem memory issues...Would check if my P67 board is at least revision 3...Also test when you get back your new board without reboots and start from there... April 25, 201115 yr The response I got back was that I have DirectX 10 preview enabled, how would I disable that and is that the problem? To disable DX10 Preview, go into the Graphics settings in FSX and uncheck the Preview DirectX 10 checkbox. VATSIM: P2 | I1
April 26, 201115 yr I am having a similar problem except mine just does it momentarily and then back to normal textures. Are we saying this is a hardware issue? Rick Hobbs
