You can't. It's a separate executable.

System: P3D v5.3HF2, Intel i9-13900K, MSI 4090 GAMING X TRIO 24G, Crucial T700 4Tb M.2 SSD, Asus ROG Maximus Z790 Hero, 32Gb Corsair Vengeance DDR5 6000Mhz RAM, Win 11 Pro 64-bit, BenQ PD3200U 32” UHD monitor, Fulcrum One yoke, Fulcrum Throttle Quadrant.

Thanks for replying.Do you mean that I have to start RC4 before I start FSX - like ASE or REX?

RC4 should always be started last. Load FSX and position your aircraft at a gate.Start your weather program (REX?) and ensure the weather is updated in FSX. You may have to toggle Ai Aircraft depending on your settings in REX. Once weather has been updated in FSX start RC4.ASE doesn't need running unless you're going to change something in that program like add a new airport.

I always launch FSX from ASE or REX. I start those programs first. What I am trying to understand now is how to get RC4 going. I do not start any programs after starting FSX. I am in 3D mode when running FSX and do not minimize FSX to initiate any programs. FSX does NOT take kindly to mode switching. I would not use any programs that I have to start after starting FSX.

I suggest that after starting FSX in full-screen mode you switch temporarily to windowed mode, minimise FSX and launch RC4.Load your plan, select your Airline etc. and after pressing Start RC4 it will minimise and you can then restore FSX, switch to full-screen mode and you're ready to go.

You can start RC4, load your plan and make other adjustments. Do not press the START button yet.Startup REX and FSX, get your aircraft at your gate, refresh the AI for the weather catch-up with ATIS, etc., and wait a couple of minutes for AI to settle for the new weather. While you are waiting you can set up some of your navigation gear like an FMC. Hold off on entering your departure runway until you get it from RC. Then alt-tab to get to RC and press the start button. Alt-tab back to your FS window and proceed to get your clearance. By then AI should have settled so RC can assign the correct take-off runway as identified by active AI or the weather (and runway properties) when you contact ground for departure taxi. You don't have to be in FS Windowed mode to do this. Will that work?If not with whatever you use for 3D synthesis(if that is what you are refering to) then for RC considering getting a second inexpensive PC for it to run on and then purchase WideFS so RC can run as a client to FS. Depending on how active REX is with FS, maybe it can run on that second PC along with RC and that should increase performance on your FS host.I'm not familiar with REX (and I only run FS9) but that should help.
