FSX in 3D limited to 24fps@1080p

Featured Replies

Due to the HDMI 1.4 bottleneck TV's can only display 24fps at full HD 3D. Does that mean one has to keep FSX fixed at 24 frames? The shutter glasses maintain 120hz (60 per eye) by the way, not to be confused. I get massive blurries unless I have unlimited set.FSX in 3D is incredible on a 50 inch Plasma by the way, even at 24fps.

I recently started FSX flying in/with 3D Vision but using the DVI-D cable instead of HDMI and reach 50-60 fps. I'm using the external limiter steady on 30 fps and in FSX set Unlimited. You are right, 2x 60Hz. Look if your TV can handle DVI-DI hope that there will come a fix for the misplaced lights issue in FSX. Nightflying is nearly impossible but daylight flying.... AWESOME.Happy landings...
