I recently installed fs2004 on my windows 7 64bit system. Everything works fine until i installed the update 1 for the fs2crew md11. With FS2CREW MD 11 without update all appears to work. After the update is installed the main problem happens. If i at any point i try to load a PMDG MD11 (from the Aircraft menu>select aircraft) after starting a flight in any aircraft, fs2004 stops working and the windows message saying it has stopped working appears and the the restart message appears. Without the FS2Crew installed the MD11 and fs2004 is fine. Then with the normal FS2Crew program it works. The issue is after the update is installed. I hope this makes sense, any help would be appreciated. Thanks Mark

Hi Mark,Try disabling DEP via the command line. Make sure you're logged in as an Admin.Google "disable DEP command line".Let me know if that helps.Best,

Thanks for the adviceI have disabled the DEP but it didn't appear to help. An example of what happens is: I create a flight with a cessna. If i change the aircraft to a MD11 in game or via end flight > create a flight. I can load a MD11 and it works. Once a MD11 is loaded and i try to change to another aircraft in game or via create a flight. Upon loading all I get is a black blank screen and then i get the message saying flight simulator has stopped working.. and it closes. This only happens when FS2crew is installed and appears to be only after the update is installed. Any more ideas?ThanksMark

Is your cockpit set to load the 2D Cockpit by default? It should. Never load from a VC or Tower view. Aircraft should load by default into the 2D cockpit. Are you using saved situation files? If so, please don't use them.Other than those ideas, I'm not really sure. Can you use "Event Viewer" to get more info?Best,

Mark,Please download and install the latest version of DirectX from Microsoft. Please also ensure you have the latest video card drivers. If you still can't get it to work, contact me via the contact page on the FS2Crew website.Best,
Hi, i have used the contact us on the FS2Crew webpage. After more testing it appears as though the problem lies with FS2crew MD11 and having any joystick/gamepad connected. The program works fine without anything connected.. But if is connected then FS2004 stops responding.. I have the latest direct 11 and nVidia drivers and my saitek drivers too. Without FS2Crew installed, FS2004 works perfect with the joystick.. Mark
