April 30, 201115 yr Hi Guys,After installing Fly2 with the Simvol discs I get a ctd and in the gtfo txt get the following message. The ctd seems to be random sometimes I am able to fly but mostly not.Msg: Fatal error caused by .DLL "modules\pc\GLASS_COCKPIT _1-v1.4.dll" in DLLKill routine.File: Dllman.cpp line 343Time: Fri Apr 29 20:42:20 2011errno = 2 (No such file or directory) Anyone has any ideas? When I try to open the dll file I get a message that states the file is corrupt. :( Thanks,Ian

II; next DVD1 then DVD2 if you have that. It may be one of the aircraft loaded is looking / depending on that dll... Hopefully the read-me files are intact, and one wants to ensure the dll file is in the proper folder. Test by removing the dll from the Modules/PC folder. If the CTDs stop, then the file is not good and you can try reloading from the DVD (hoping one can load individual files). Other than that, can post in the English section at http://fly.simvol.org/indexus.php and Laurent should respond. With the Legacy project, it might be a little time, though. Let me know how it goes!Cheers,Ken ___________________________ Kenneth E Wood Jr 🌪️🌩️ ex AG1, USN (14yr Vet) Weather Foecaster

Will continue to try and sort it out.Regards,Ian
May 5, 201115 yr Hi Ian,I finally got some time to do a little research for you. I have the version 1.3 file in my storage HDD, and according to Laurent that - if installed, it is set up to work only with the TRI Malibu, and from his readme, here is what he says: This 'demo' navigation display gauge, installed in the a IFR Malibu panel, is intended to introduce a freeware gauge that can be easily installed in any glass cockpit type aircraft or in any additional window. The files included are an example how to install this gauge in more sophisticated panels ... Fell free to install it in any plane you wish.-- This version 1.3 shows the HSI obs route in the ND -- -- see <mes2> in the PNL file related below --!!!(Note that this demo works only with the TRI factory malibu)!!!!!!(Note also that while <msg1> in PNL file is mandatory, the <msg2> for the HSI OBS is not required to make the ND gauge work)!!!Known problems :1) You see the ND but you can't have it workingMaybe you have installed some add-on for the TRI factory plane (i.e. ac_defaultFix.POD).In this case, AMP files (from my MALIBU_GC_DEMO.pod and the add-on) are in conflict. To solve the problem, unpod the TRI1.AMP file from my MALIBU_GC_DEMO.pod and place it inthe fly!II/world folder. This way my AMP file will have the greatest priority (in Fly INI you should haveselected "searchPodFilesFirst=0")So the file is not really a necessary one to have, but one would need to "see" if the PNL file and AMP file for the Malibu are changed and if one can get back to the TRI Factory files. In actuality one just needs to delete the MALIBU_GC_DEMO.POD file (delete or move from the aircraft folder - or found in one of the other folders). No real need to delete the .dll file unless you like a tidy modules folder! Cheers!Ken ___________________________ Kenneth E Wood Jr 🌪️🌩️ ex AG1, USN (14yr Vet) Weather Foecaster
