I'm not sure why I'm having trouble aligning the IRS. I looked at the way the realism looks on page 17 of the manual, and I'm using the FS2Crew Level-D 767 FSX Panel State. I'm following the provided check list, and I'm able to set the FMC, but the IRS align keeps flashing after the time runs out. Any Idea why?

Hi Johnnyare you trying to align the IRS via the FMC? .... you must align it via the overhead panel by setting all 3 switches to align after putting position in FMC. If memory serves me correct this can take at least 5 minutes. There is a good guide in the Level-D tutorial flight (Golden Gate run) that explains it in depth.Regards Dave

No, I tried it via the overhead panel, but that didn't work. I eventually had to align it via the FMC, and it seems to be aligning just fine now.

I know you have had a few queries over the last few days mate, but trust me, once you have mastered the LDS767/FS2Crew combination you just about won't want to fly anything else. :( All the best Dave
