Hiya fellas,I'm quite used to using RC4! However I want to practice some holds. I seem to recall from the manual (but cant find it in there now!) that there has to be a vor within a certain distance from the airport? Please can someone enlighten me? I've done several flights with hold selected but havnt been held - EGCC-EDDT and EGCC-EGAC, EGCC-EGAA. Please can you tell me the correct procedure. Can you force a hold??Rory

Ok Sir, many thanks. Just read that. The BEL VOR is located at EGAA, well within 5 miles of that Airport, so based on that I should've been held?

It depends on weather, AI traffic, etc. See the manual on how to set it up.

Sorted it. It does help a great deal if you add the VOR to the flightplan in the first place!! :(
