May 15, 201115 yr Hi, I have installed fs9 back onto my computer after a few months trying to prefect fsx to work, so i am in the slow period of putting it all back on. But i am having a problem, i have so far just installed fs9 and wilcopub airbus volume 1. But when i load fs9 and select the aircraft then select the fly now the fs just crashes! The fs doesnt do this with the default aircraft.Does anyone have any solutions to the problem?Cheers

But, seriously, we're going to need to know more about your system and whether or not you get any error messages at the time or in the event viewer...DJ

A number of add on aircraft make use of .dll's in the modules folder for one reason or another. If the aircraft's gauges have not been programmed to deal with the possibility that the module they are looking for isn't loaded yet, you will often see FS crash if that aircraft is selected from the opening menu. If FS survives when you select a stock aircraft at load time, then switch to the desired aircraft, this is almost certainly the problem. The only solution is to start another aircraft first, then switch to the one you want to use.Doug
May 15, 201115 yr Hi,Looks like you're suffering from the same problem many other Wilco users are going through. From what I know, this seems to be a 'gauge' or a 'module' problem with the aircraft. If you have the time, try removing/replacing the panel and see if that makes you at least start the flight. If you can, it's definitely a faulty 'gauge' file on the aircraft. You could also try turning off User Account Control (UAC) and then try and load your aircraft. Lastly, uninstall the aircraft from 'Add/Remove', found inside 'Control Panel'. Once uninstalled from there, go back to your flight simulator folder and find any remains of the Wilco application as some files aren't usually deleted due to their compatibility test with Windows. It usually thinks that these are system files and keeps them there. However, they aren't. Now you're ready to do a clean install of the bird. Hope this helps.Cheers
