I've never even heard of Club 3D, so I can't really speak toward their quality. Just make sure you don't skimp on a PSU. Corsair AX series and Seasonic X series are the pretty much the very best that I know. Unless you need hyper threading for another application, I would recommend the i5-2500k instead of the 2600k.Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB drives are at least as good as WD Black and they're a bit cheaper. Newegg has them on sale today for $54.99 with promo code EMCYTZT465.

I have been debating between the P67 Extreme 6 and Z68 Extreme 4. The cost seems about the same. One diff is the Ext 6 seems to advertise better "digi" power (V16 vs V8). Do you contemplate some use in FSX for the onchip graphics?scott s..

No, I believe it's either discrete or onboard, but never both unless you're doing something like encoding while playing a game.

Club3D is a European company best known for producing GFX-cards.Here is a link to a test (in german) of the PSU:http://www.technic3d...l-im-test/1.htmTo me that looks about equal to their test of the AX850http://www.technic3d...l-im-test/1.htmA third possibility could be the new Corsair TX750 v2. (Though not modular).Or Chill Innovation CP-700M. Prodeced (or atlast designed) by a local company - and tested as being both stable and very quiet.Anyway what I want to be certain of is that I have enough power if - in some point in the future - I should go SLI or CFX.As for HDD's I thought that an 6 GB/s would be faster than a 3 GB/s but am certainly open to persuasion.Anyway bying from Newegg isn't an option as I live Denmark.

Thanks. I did come cross a review here: http://www.techspot.com/review/395-asrock-z68-extreme4/ which did a compare of the two boards, and they are pretty much identical in performance. But the review didn't do a max overclock. From what I've seen though is if a given processor will do a 46 multiplier on one board, it will do it on any board and the difference may be in some slight BCLK or RAM timing tweaks. The review also did some testing of the "virtu" software in I guess "i" mode and "d" mode and it was mainly about 1 FPS difference in the games they looked at. scott s..
