  1. From Wired: "A SECURITY RESEARCHER kicked off a United Airlines flight last month after tweeting about security vulnerabilities in its system had previously taken control of an airplane and caused it to briefly fly sideways, according to an application for a search warrant filed by an FBI agent. Chris Roberts, a security researcher with One World Labs, told the FBI agent during an interview in February that he had hacked the in-flight entertainment system, or IFE, on an airplane and overwrote code on the plane’s Thrust Management Computer while aboard the flight. He was able to issue a climb command and make the plane briefly change course, the document states." http://www.wired.com/2015/05/feds-say-banned-researcher-commandeered-plane Also discussed here: https://www.petri.com/security-expert-claims-he-hacked-airplanes-while-in-flight

  3. Unfortunately the problem persists - neither retreiving the lost password from my original registration nor registering again with a different username and email-adress has worked today. I surely hope and trust that this will be fixed before the P3D2 launchparty ..
  4. I can confirm that there is a problem with the P3D forum. In my case I am unable to recover my lost password. Could someone with a working account please alert the admin of the forum? /Lars

  11. Mayby so - I for one have not encountered the problem before. Thanks for your help, the detailed explanation - and the link provided to a solution.
  12. Had to call MS a few years back to reactivate FSX on a new PC - no problem at all, all done over the phone.
  13. The Gigabyte 670 OC 2GB has some very positive reviews. OC'ed out of the box - but with prices close to reference. http://www.techpower...indforce/1.html http://www.hardwarec...-oc-review.html So I choose to get that one as you can see in my below The build is so new however, that I have barely begun testing it. So far everything looks good :-)
  14. Following the news of buried Spitfires in Burma/Myanmar a rare German WWII airplane has been recovered from the North Sea: http://politiken.dk/...und-in-denmark/ http://video.cnbc.co...ideo=3000086606 And a bit of history from Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia..../Heinkel_He_219

  20. Club3D is a European company best known for producing GFX-cards.Here is a link to a test (in german) of the PSU:http://www.technic3d...l-im-test/1.htmTo me that looks about equal to their test of the AX850http://www.technic3d...l-im-test/1.htmA third possibility could be the new Corsair TX750 v2. (Though not modular).Or Chill Innovation CP-700M. Prodeced (or atlast designed) by a local company - and tested as being both stable and very quiet.Anyway what I want to be certain of is that I have enough power if - in some point in the future - I should go SLI or CFX.As for HDD's I thought that an 6 GB/s would be faster than a 3 GB/s but am certainly open to persuasion.Anyway bying from Newegg isn't an option as I live Denmark.
