May 17, 201115 yr Hey guys,I finally took the plunge and got myself a set of Saitek combat rudder pedals and a Saitek Yoke (with the three axis quadrant included). I've had a go at setting it up however have been reading a few things in here about not using the default Saitek software, or in fact using the FSX software for assignments. So, a couple of quick questions..1) Since I'm running the rudder pedals and the yoke, should I plug the USB from the rudder pedals into the yoke box, or directly into the computer itself? Will it make any difference? It seems some people have experienced problems one way or another. At the moment I have the pedals plugged into the yoke which is inturn plugged into the PC.2) At the moment in the FSX calibration screen, when I click on the rudder pedals, I also get the option to adjust sensitivity for aileron and elevated. How am I able to adjust the sensitivity of the aileron and elevator, which are obviously on the yoke, when I've selected the rudder pedals?2) Am I better off purchasing FSUIPC and configuring the controllers this way? It appears that there are several methods of running this hardware.3) Should I therefore uninstall all the Saitek software from my Windows 7 install? I presume I do need to keep the drivers themselves though? Thanks for any advice guys, my head hurts from reading too many posts about what to and what not to do.Cheers,Kael Kael Oswald 9950X3D/ 64GB DDR5 6200 @ CL30 / Custom Water Loop / RTX 5090 / 3 x 48" LG C4 OLEDs
May 17, 201115 yr 1. If you have a USB-port to spare plug the pedals separately.2/2 Get FSUIPC ASAP, and the tutorial from SimSamurai.3. Yes, get rid of Saitek software, don't worry about the driver.Congrats on the new gear!Bjorn "I´ll rather be down here wishing I was up there than be up there wishing I was down here"
