Hi everyone,Honestly I have to say, IFLY paintkit is the second after PMDG B1900 that I've seen worst paintkit!!! In normally, whole side PSD pictures are exactly fit size by divided Texture BMPs.So you can easyly crop by 512X512 or 1024X1024. But Ifly sideview paintkit has empty areas and divided 3 fuselage textures parts are too close to other model parts in the picture.I've a question; how do you crop fit size of main sideview PSD file (name is 800.PSD)and how do you put correct pixel positions in fuselage without touching other pictures parts in bmp file?PMDG800 paintkit was fitted size example 3072pixels wide and we could divide correct size each 1024pixels as 3 parts.

It's easy to use, you paint the entire fuselage PSD as you want it, save the file, then flatten it, then use either the magic wand or the quick selection tool in PS to select the background when on a tolerance setting of probably about 20 or so, invert the selection, copy it and then paste the selection into your duplicate DDS files in a new aircraft folder, where it will come in as a new layer. Temporarily reduce the layer opacity to about 70 percent so you can see what is on the original layer beneath.Reflect the pasted image on the new layer across the vertical to mirror it, and then use the move tool to align the parts using the red crop target markers on the layers as a position guide. Note that you have to shift things ever so slightly on the rear and front textures get the underside perfectly aligned, the middle one is okay. When it is lined up correctly with the target markers overlaying on both the original and your new pasted layer, put the opacity back up to 100 percent, flatten the layers and then save it.Note that when you've done all three fuselage sections, close the original paint kit PSD file without saving it so that you keep an unflattened PSD paint kit file. It's not the worst paint kit by a long way, there are plenty out there that are appallingly bad compared to this one, many with none of the layers named, or poorly grouped etc, etc.Al

Dear Al, thanks a lot for your reply. In fact what Hakan expressed here was my question and when I was totally confused, I'd asked for his help. What I am trying to paint is something like this:800psdconnect.pngI am flattening the image, select, inverse and copy the whole to the DDS file that I duplicated. But when I do this, i see the pasted image is bigger than the DDS image. And then I try to resize to fit the target, everything changes and I start to think there should be another way.More than that, I want to extend the yellow ribbon under the fuselage and want to add a black circle at the nose of the plane but I can not figure how to do these. Thanks a lot for your help in advance; please be sure that there are several dumb questions to come from me.Bogac

Making the line on the belly is quiet easy with the use of FSRepaint ( demo will do) IF this airplane loads in FSRepaint. If not, its more or less a question of trial and error.Paint what you think "it might be" and see the result.Adjust the texture depending on the result.Leenroughly sketched (just thinking what it might be, no sim and no FSRepaint used)

When you paste the entire fuselage artwork from the main PSD file into one of the three texture DDS files, simply invert it vertically, then select the Move tool (shortcut 'V'), then click and drag the thing into position for the front, or rear, or middle (depending on which texture you are on), there is no need to resize it, you only have to align it and let the extra bits go off the edge of the image area, since that does not matter. Do the same for all three fuselage DDS files and you are done.Al
