Just continuing with my re-install of flight sim and thought I would have a quick fly.Found this strange problem affecting military and helicopters in the sim.Anyone know the cause or how to rectify it? Have tried a repair to the sim which did not work!Help please I don't want to start again from the beginning

Looks like a corrupted shader cache. Did you install the shader mod 3 and forgot to recopmpile the shaders?

I did indeed install the shader mod 3 but was not not aware I had to recompile the shaders?Please explain how to do this?

Make sure you have HIGHMEMFIX=1 in the Graphics section of your FSX config.Best regards,Jim

Go to C:\Users\[your username]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\FSX\, and delete the two Shader folders. FSX will rebuild them next time it starts.
