View Outside Aircraft Without Seeing Wings

Featured Replies

Hi,In FS9 I used a gauge call Clear Vue which allowed you to see around your aircraft in the different views without seeing the wings, inside cockpit, tail, etc. It does not work with FSX, I tried it using FS Panel Studio to add it. Anyone know if there is a way to do this in FSX, not see your wings, etc. and get a clear view around aircraft? Thanks, Paul

go in the aircraft module folder and put // in front of vc view. I dont remember if thats what its called but you will see what I am talking about as there are only a couple things in there.

If you use the W key in the 2d view, you cycle through: panel / minipanel / outside view.In FS9, the outside view was a clear view, in FSX, you see the airplane..If this is what you are after, you can get the FS9 effect by stopping at Minipanel, using the shift-2 key (or any other shift-n key) to bring up a popup and then using A and shift-A to remove it.If you like this effect, you can add a little gauge in FSX called W-fix that will do all this for you..
