Why can't i get past engine start? after starting engine 1 i arm my auto throttle and call for takeoff flaps, but i don't get anywhere. I have to click on the panel to get there.

Hi Martin,Assuming you're doing a pushback, you need to tell the pushback crew that they're cleared to disconnect and go to hand signals.That's the trigger that will switch the mode to next mode.Pls check the manual for the exact syntax.Cheers,

Yes i'm using PB but with AES. What triggers that i have set my brake and AES has finished PB?

I understand now...If you're using AES, you'll need to advance the "mode" forward manually at the end of the pushback.I can't "read" when an AES pushback would be complete.Cheers,
