That looks like a pretty good default system to run FSX these days. Plan to OC to 4GHz. or higher for good FPS. I would suggest two things:1. A good PSU (800 watts or so)2. A second hard drive. One for the OS and the 2nd for FSX.Just my 2

Intel i9-12900KF, Asus Prime Z690-A MB, 64GB DDR5 6000 RAM, (3) SK hynix M.2 SSD (2TB ea.), 16TB Seagate HDD, Gigabyte GeForce 5080 RTX, Corsair iCUE H70i AIO Liquid Cooler, UHD/Blu-ray Player/Burner (still have lots of CDs, DVDs!)  Windows 10, (hold off for now on Win11),  EVGA 1300W PSU
Netgear 1Gbps modem & router, (3) 27" 1440 wrap-around displays
Full array of Bravo, Saitek and GoFlight hardware for the cockpit. Varjo and HP VR headsets for mixed reality.

Hello,i'm from italy so sorry for my english, this is my spec pccpu i72600kmobo asusu sabertooth p67 rev 3.08gb ddr 3 ram corsair xms 3psu corsair 750 wattaudio x-fi platinum-2 hhd seagate 1 TB 16 Mb Buffer 7200rpmvga amd hd4900 1 gb ddr5 pciexp 2.0coolling noctua nh-d14my question : is possible to obtain from my cpu an overclock 4.80ghz ?for sure is necessary an overvolt?(i hope no)Win 7 Ultimate 64bit SP1thank you so much for your answers!Ciao!

I own very similar configuration (i5 2500, 2x4GB RAM, GeForce 450GTS with 1GB GDDR5. Only what you need for smooth FSX working is 64bit Win7 OS.I'm using FSX with Acceleration, REX and I have details and autogen set as high as possible because I often fly low with heli (my favourite is 206 from Dodosim). You should be satisfied with configuration you described.

That PSU is plenty as long as you don't starting adding multiple video cards.System looks great overall.
