Say 'audo' and 'wan' as our American cousins do and all will be well. Works everytime for me despite my English accent :(

Voice training takes a few minutes to do, but it will really help you computer to recognise your voice. Also keep in mind that you have to over-annunciate things bit on occasion. This is not that unusual in an aeroplane as I'm sure you know, for example, you are actually supposed to say 'niner' and 'fife' for nine and five over the radio when talking to ATC.Al

Bryan, there may be an item on the preflight checklist which gives me the same error as mentioned by the threadstarter. It's "Instr Xfer & display switches" and I can only get further there when saying "next" or "checked" but not "auto" or "normal" like recommended on the "required speech recognition response" list.I can see that the text from the voice engine understands my "auto" or "normal" there, but FS2Crew just doesn't continue with those words used.On other checklist items, "auto" and "normal" works fine, so the sheer understanding of the voice engine actually works.

Hi,Problem is you're not using the expected response. You need to say "Normal, Auto" together as a single phrase for the Instrument Xfer and Display switches challenge. That's the expected response.Cheers,

Had to laugh about myself, again. You are right, I took that script as an or thingy. Bryan, I hope this does come in as a compliment (because that's my intention when posting it). You made me look stupid. :biggrin:I'll better watch those switches more closely in the future since they give hints of course.
